Description
Know your real cost and break-even before you click Buy — every charge by trade date, plus a 50-trade day sheet. The problem: Broker calculators are online, one trade at a time and tied to one broker's brokerage. What's different: Broker-agnostic brokerage settings, dated STT regimes, 50-trade day totals, break-even points. Features: • Options, futures, intraday, delivery; NSE & BSE • Itemised charges and net P&L • Break-even move per unit • 50-trade day sheet with totals • Dated rates table you can update Who it's for: Indian F&O and equity traders. Works with: Microsoft Excel 2010 or later (Windows/Mac), Excel for the web, Google Sheets (upload → open → Save as Google Sheets), LibreOffice Calc 7+. No macros, no add-ins, works offline. How it was tested: every formula was recalculated in LibreOffice Calc and checked against independent Python calculations on the fictional sample data, including edge cases (blank rows, missing fees, invalid numbers, divide-by-zero). The files use only functions available in Excel 2010+ and Google Sheets; open them in your own spreadsheet app before relying on them. Indian rates and lot sizes are kept in a dated, editable table (checked 11 Oct 2026, sources listed in the file). Your broker's contract note is the legal record. Not tax advice. Your data stays on your device or in your own Google account — no account, no broker connection. Not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any exchange, broker, index provider, app or educator named on this page; names are used only to describe compatibility or subject matter. Educational record-keeping tool — not investment, tax or legal advice. Trading involves risk of loss; no results are promised.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a subscription?
No. One-time purchase, instant download after payment. Your purchased version keeps working; free updates are not guaranteed.
Does it connect to my broker?
No. It is an offline file — your data stays on your computer or Google account. You type or paste trades; nothing is sent anywhere.
Does it work in Google Sheets?
Yes. Upload the .xlsx to Google Drive, open it with Google Sheets and choose File → Save as Google Sheets. Formulas, dropdowns and colours carry over; charts are converted by Google and can be restyled.
What does the calculator include?
One workbook with a single-trade calculator, a 50-trade day sheet and a dated rates table, plus a Quick Start Guide. There is no separate sample file; worked examples are already filled in.
What happens when STT, charges or lot sizes change?
All rates and lot sizes sit in a dated table on the 'Rates & Lots' sheet. When a rule changes you add one row with the new effective date — old trades keep the old rate. DigiCools aims to post updated files after statutory changes, but this is not guaranteed.
Is this tax advice?
No. The calculator estimates charges; your contract note and your CA are the authorities.
What if the file doesn't open?
Contact DigiCools via digicools.com with your order email and product ID DC-TJ-24; we will help you open it or resend the file.
