Frequently asked questions

Does it handle spreads and iron condors?

Yes. Enter each leg on its own row with the same Position ID. The journal adds the legs together and counts the trade once.

What multiplier should I use?

Most US-listed equity options use 100. Set your default on Settings, or type a different multiplier on any row.

How do I record an option that expired or was assigned?

Expired worthless: Exit Premium 0. Assigned or exercised: enter the intrinsic value at expiry as the Exit Premium.

Does it calculate Greeks or connect to my broker?

No. It is a manual journal for recording and reviewing trades. It does not fetch prices or calculate Greeks.

Does it work in Google Sheets?

Yes. Upload the .xlsx to Google Drive and save it as a Google Sheets file. Excel 2019+ and LibreOffice also work.

Can I share it?

No. The license is for personal use only.
