Frequently asked questions
Which markets does it cover?
Stocks and ETFs, forex, futures, crypto (spot and perpetuals) and Indian F&O, plus a general planner that works for any market with a point value.
Why is the size rounded down?
So the loss at your stop never exceeds your risk budget. If the budget is too small for one unit, the size shows 0.
Where do pip and tick values come from?
Forex pip value is calculated from units, pip size and the conversion rate you enter. Futures tick values are entered by you from the contract specs.
Are the Indian lot sizes current?
They are the index lot sizes as of the Jan-2026 series. Exchanges revise them, so check the latest circular and edit the table.
Can a real loss be bigger than planned?
Yes. Gaps, slippage and fast markets can fill you beyond your stop. The calculator sizes the planned risk only.
Does it work in Google Sheets?
Yes. Upload the .xlsx to Google Drive and save it as a Google Sheets file.
Can I share it?
No. The license is for personal use only.
